“Peace I leave with you.  My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do i give to you.  Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”  John 14:27  The verse John 14:26 states that through salvation in Jesus name, God the Father is giving us the Helper or the Holy Spirit by His’s Grace.

The Holy Spirit will teach us and guide us based on the truth of scripture.  If we practice through prayer to follow this guidance than we can attain peace.  Peace does NOT come from money, wealth, power, status or fame etc.  Peace comes from God.

John 14:27 also states, do not be anxious, worried or fearful.  Going through life without anxiety or fear is hard to imagine.  In order to achieve this, you must be constant in prayer and meditation of scripture.  It takes time and effort everyday to become peaceful.

Everything is tied together through faith, love, peace and joy.  We have faith through salvation.  God’s love has given us grace and the Holy Spirit, which brings us peace and joy.  It seems so simple at times.

The peace is often broken by the anxiety over the circumstances that surround us.  When we listen closely to the Holy Spirit, we know the difference between righteousness and sin.  Those times when we are tempted to sin we must stop and take that moment to say a prayer to reaffirm our love for Jesus and ask Him to help you fend off the temptation of sin.  With constant practice you will find it easier to avoid transgressions and it will become easier to feel the Godly peace you desire.

Remember, there are so many verses that state, “God is always with you”.  In knowing this, He will give you the strength you need to find your peace.

Have a Blessed day!
